Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announces $2,500.00 reward to Crime Stoppers for July 25th shooting on W. 6th street ramp to I-75

Today, Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters announced his office is donating $2,500.00 to Crime Stoppers to help solve the unsolved shooting that occurred on July 25th on the W. 6th Street ramp to I-75 South.

On July 25th at approximately 5:10 p.m. Lian Cung Nung and his wife were driving in their 2005 dark blue Toyota Camry on the W. 6th Street ramp to I-75 South when someone shot Mr. Nung in the head.  Mr. Nung died as a result of his injuries.

Prosecutor Deters has released five photos from the crime scene depicting the victim’s car as well as four other photos.  Cincinnati Police would like to talk with the driver or passengers in the red van, the PT cruiser and the black SUV that are seen in the photos.  

The Cincinnati Police Department is looking for witnesses who may have information about this unsolved homicide.  Anyone who normally drives this route and may have seen or heard something involving the shooting or recognizes any of the cars the police are searching for are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040 or the Cincinnati Police Homicide Department at 513-352-3542.

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joseph T. Deters commented, “The road was crowded and someone had to see something.  This occurred during the Brent Spence bridge repairs and traffic was heavy.
