David J. Kohls

Having recently quit his job, David Kohls decided to find someone he thought would be an easy target to rob so that he could make money. He found Maria Olberding walking down the street and began following her. As soon as the two were alone, he attacked - stabbing her in the back, knocker to the ground, pounced upon her and continued to stab her. Miss Olberding died as a result of the multiple, deep stab wounds to her back and side.

Kohls has been sentenced to twenty years to life in prison for his crimes. He has yet to even serve his minimum sentence. There is no reason why this murderer should ever be allowed out of prison, let alone early. Therefore, this office opposes granting Kohls any type of release.
